WTFphotography is not a really a club, we don't have group submission, all you need to do is, watch us, if you are interested, or just go visit.
In WTFphotography, we believe in ideas such as (but not limited to):
- You don't have to have an expensive Camera or gear for great pictures
(But if you do, that's cool!)
- There are no Do's or Don't's. We are not doing photo manipulation, merely camera manipulation.
- Being creative in boring places and getting something different out of what you see.
- Using whatever is available to you and trying to make the most out of it.
- Having fun with photography, it's not just about finishing a job.

Who is WTF?
WTFphotography is run by a couple anonymous deviantART members trying to make a difference. Even though we might have enough photographic gears of our own, we still want to show those who cannot afford more than a simple camera to improve and/or change their style of shooting, and most of all, how to be creative and have fun. All of the shots in the gallery are shot and owned by the WTF team.
WTFphotography Was put together just a few nights ago. I hope we will get enough feedback and support so we will continue to be creative.

Metering Tutorial
Photography Tutorial: Metering.
Metering: Most cameras have a built-in light meter that measures the amount of light in a scene and allows the camera to adjust the shutter speed and aperture for a proper exposure. To meter is to take a light reading.
Before we go on, you should be aware that:
- The AE/L means Exposure Lock on a DSLR/SLR or any other camera that has that button, if you press and hold that button it will lock the exposure data that you metered.
- If you depress the shutter half way and hold it, on most other camera, that is the AE/L and AF/L most likely, which means Exposure Lock and Auto Focus Lock.

Basic Night Photography

Night Photography refers to photographs taken outdoors between twilight and dawn. Night photographers generally have a choice between using artificial light or using a long exposure, exposing the scene for seconds or even minutes, in order to give the film enough time to capture a usable image. With the progress of high-speed films, higher-sensitivity digital image sensors, wide-aperture lenses, and the ever-greater power of urban lights, night photography is increasingly possible using available light.
